Don’t Agonize, Organize!

Effectively Defending Church-State Separation
in Challenging Times

Please join us for a grassroots activist training in Manhasset, Long Island:

Saturday, April 17
12:00 noon – 5:30 PM

Professional trainer Hans Johnson and key staff from the Americans United national office will lead participants through workshops on grassroots organizing and leadership development, and organizing within faith communities.

The training leaders are: Hans Johnson, Progressive Victory, Rev. Steven Baines, AU Assistant Field Director for Religious Outreach, and Beth Corbin, AU National Field Director.

The training is free and we encourage all of our members and supporters to attend! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet other church-state activists in the area!

Immediately following the training session participants are invited to join us at a reception featuring a conversation with AU’s Executive Director Rev. Barry W. Lynn. Rev. Lynn will speak on “The State of Church-State Separation in America.”

There is much work to do in safeguarding separation of church and state, so please plan to join us.
